Katie is RED Ahead's AmeriCorps member and a part of United Way of East Central Iowa's Youth Achievement Corps.
Katie is from the Chicago area and graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota with a B.A. in anthropology and sociology. Since coming to Cedar Rapids, she has also worked as a playologist for the Iowa Children's Museum.
